Me, Myself & iPhone
We broke up for about a week. The longest we’ve ever been apart.
My overseas working vaca didn’t fit Mr. iPhone’s plan so I turned him off. Showed him who’s the Boss.
Got a little jealous seeing bikers in The Hague riding & talking & texting with their phones while navigating the roads. The power of strong expresso & nerves of high-speed cable.
Don’t tell Siri but I kinda forgot he was even in my purse. After 36 hours, I started to feel weirdly free. Finally, no more newsfeeds to feed. And the Uber drivers in London seemed lost without their phones.
But when we landed back home it wasn’t even 2 minutes & I wasn’t even off the plane & you know what’s coming next, that I turned him on again. And the connection was electric.
Only this time I’m going to make smarter choices about how much time we spend together. Starting tomorrow.
I’ve mapped out a plan (sneak preview above) & I’ll fill you in later. If you can’t wait check out a link to my iBook, Atlas Posture Maps at www.atlasposture.com or click below.
